Cloudless

 Never expecting this delightful meeting

That began with a simple greeting

Now, it’s growing faster than wheat in the summer

With adventures that have an endless number

Beautiful and bright just like the sun on the Fourth of July

While based on everything but a lie

Almost as though it was from outer space

Because of its supernatural embrace

Stronger than a bamboo plant

Yet delicate as your attention span

Never ending will this friendship be

How foolish was Shakespeare not to write about you and me

Our City

City of the swirling winds

Once center of industrial growth,

Now city for new beginnings.

This city may not be perfect

As it has many flaws

Yet filled with many hopes and dreams

There is no way it can’t improve at all.

A city, filled with never-ending towers,

Filled with inseparable families,

Filled with art, music, soul

A city where all are welcome.

As the people arrive, I hear their joyful ebullience

I watch as the wind carries their worries away

I see the blissful smiles on their faces

Delighted to know they are home.

1st image is from the internet, other 2 images are mine.

Can I really run away?

Away from the bad dream

That has incarcerated me,

In to a deadly ending.

I try to escape,

But every time, I fall in more evil

Shadows and a powerful wind surrounds me

And I scream

I hear my name

And someone is calling me

I look around and no one is there

Can this be death that has caught up to me?

This is how death feels!

You have incarcerated me

Nightmares consume me and chain me

The 1st & 2nd pictures are mine the 3rd one is from the internet

The 2nd and 3rd picture are mine, and the 1st i took it from online.

Can you tell me what is the adrenaline

That rushes through my veins and conquers my soul

As soon as our hearts make contact?

My heart begins to thump louder, and louder.

Can this gleaming light of emotion be that that overcomes my bodiless spirit

Be the only path in which I can feel an escape

Yes, this must be love

That brought me to my dismay and weakens me

Like a sickening fever that deteriorates me with kryptonite.

Now hatred and resentment are the pilots to my mind,

A sickening, disgusting, emotion, that

Can only comfort me and please so I have no reason

Not to accept the invitation to this enlightenment of love.

 A Glimmer of Light

As she looked up into the summer’s last gaze

She closed her eyes and saw him…

Saw him as a shooting star the one

To make a wish and wish upon

But the same way he came,

unexpectedly he left

Just leaving a glimmer of light behind

Filled her eyes with a crystal shine of tears

But with a sigh, eyes looking up into the sky

waiting for the next

glimmer of light to shine across

to revive that summer left behind

Poem

“Exhorresco Excessum”

The feeling of death overwhelms the air

there is no way that I can escape

Bewildered on what is yet to come

I can somehow predict death is nearing in

The wind is screeching for my name

As I hear the shrieking of the souls,

That you’ve purged throughout the years

My whole body begins to tremble

Shocked at all the deathly horrors I begin to see

I begin to think it’s just a dream

But somehow you begin to close in

You’ve finally caught up to me

I feel the pain you inflict on me

I scream in horror at the souls’ sorrow

Trying to get away from your deathly grasp that you have on my soul

I keep trying to escape, but I don’t seem to see find a way

I have finally given up as all my strength has left me

A dormant flower

Is lonely in spring’s new birth

Envious of wings
